This grant is currently unfunded but not to fear it is serving as a pilot project. It is staffed by
a self advocate volunteer who is also a transition student who has been through the transition process. we are currently appling
for funding. The program is here to serve all transition students with disabilites to help them make a smooth transition into
adulthood. the program will foucs on the self determination and power of choice of each one of the indivauals that it
serves.
Why was this program developed and why is it needed:
Great Question! It has been developed to help students with developmental disabilities make a smoother
tansition into the real world. It is needed because most students and parents dont know what resources are available to students
with developmental disabilites after they graduate from high school
